Before installation this software FLEXlm licenses manager is mandatory to complete the installation. If we install lectra modaris V7R2 some necessary modaris lectra software will install at a time.   1. First click Start
  2. Then select English
  3. Then click Modaris Installation You can download Modaris Installation exe from internet.
  4. Or open and click Package Folder then click exe file ModarisV7R2
  5. Then click Install
  6. After installing necessary file click Next

  • Initial Configuration of Modaris:

    If you defined a specific configuration for the following parameters in the previous Modaris installation, you will need to define it again after installation, using the appropriate functions of the Modaris interface:

    • the Menu configuration if the display is in text mode and not icon mode.

    If you defined another configuration following certain procedures in the previous version of Modaris, you should apply the same procedures to adjust the configuration of Modaris V7R2, or you should contact your call center to ask for assistance with defining your Modaris configuration.

    Uninstalling a previous version of Modaris :

    It is not recommended to have Modaris V7R2 and the previous version of Modaris together on the same workstation. When configuration is complete and Modaris V7R2 is operating correctly, uninstall the previous version of Modaris.

    • Open a Windows session with an Administrator account or a user account with administrator rights.
    • Depending on how your workstation is configured, go to: “Start->Control Panel” or “Start->Settings->Control Panel”
    • In Vista and 7, select “Programs – Uninstall program”
    • In XP, select “Add/Remove programs”
    • In the list of Currently Installed Programs, select the previous version of Modaris, click on “Change/Remove” and follow the instructions.

    Licenses: 

    If you did not install the license files when installing Modaris and its components, you must install them on your workstation when you receive them. To do this, click on the “Install license files” button below and follow the procedure.

    • Select “Yes” or “Run” whenever you are asked for confirmation.
    • Select “Browse” to select the folder containing the license files,
    • Then click on “Copy Files“.
    • A message tells you how many license files were found in the folder and copied.
    • Click on “OK“.

    Configuring Lectra Workstations:

    The other Lectra workstations on which you use a Lectra application other than modaris lectra software must be updated with the latest versions of Modaservice and XChang. Lectra fashion designing software is very much essential for workstations. Procedure for other Lectra workstations for pattern drafting is as follows:

    1. Exit all running applications for installing lectra software
    2. Open a Windows session with an Administrator account or a user account with administrator rights.
    3. Insert the CD for installing lectra modaris
    4. Click on the “Update” button below
    5. Select “Open” or “Run” in the next window.
    6. Select “Run” or “Continue” in the next window.
    7. Click on “Next” or “Install” in each window.

    Network Access Control PG-2750 Installation

    1. Insert PG network access control installation CD into CDROM for security solutions
    2. On WINDOWS screen, move the mouse to “My Computer” and double click left key of the mouse.
    3. Move the mouse cursor to the CD driver for installing and then double click the left key
    4. Then search forward point to the SETUP and the move the double click the left key of mouse, then the screenshown as figure 1-1

  • If the Exit Setup selection bar is clicked, then will quit installation, otherwise, if ok selection bar is clicked, then the screen shown as figure 1-3

  • Now, if you select the Exit Setup bar, then the installation will be stopped, if Change Directory bar is selected, it will change installation path. Otherwise, it will accept the default path.
  • If the upper left corner of computer is clicked, then the screen 1-3 will be display prompt the message the user shall be to change the succeeding diskette and then press “Enter” key or click the bar to continue the installation
  • If every installation procedure is smoothly, then the following screen will display to completed successful of installation.

  • Execution Procedures of Access Systems:

    1. As enter into WINDOWS, then select Start and then PGAccess as in Fig 2-1 illustration for access systems  of electronic security management.

    If the reader can’t receive the data, please check as follow step:

    1. At p.15, 3-6 reader address, the wiring between the RFID card reader address and actual hardware are difference.
    2. At p15,3-6 reader address, the reader address don’t re-order the door no. as sheet all.
    3. If run this program on the pcp-832-2 red light don’t flashes, that don’t connect well the wiring of reader with PC.
    4. If the wiring connect well between pc and reader that maybe the serial port of window95 don’t work, could use ( start, setup,control panel, system ) , check the serial port ( COM& LPT ) if show red X (means in vain) if show yellow ! ( means conflict with another install).

If the reader type of access control policy is PG-707, please refer p57”PG-707 and PCP-832-2 connect method, Notice: reader and multi-channel controller do common ground, if not, then the “Data ready” signal won’t be transfer to multi-channel controller effective and the transmission will be intermission. Sometime the PC can collect the data and sometime not.
    3. To check whether the reader be in the polling mode ( polling mode, function 4, 1701 ) . You may check by pressing the “9” key, then the LCD Display show as Pxx , ( P is 1701, if no P that be defined 1700 ) .
    1. In Polling Mode, this program can identify the reader address, security solutions, contrary, in Direct mode doesn’t receive the command. (the define way in Polling mode: PG-2750 , slide the master card, press 4, and press 1701., PP-3750: press 01234, press 4, press 1701)
    2. Check whether the address for each reader in the same port is unique, such as PCP-832-2 two port controller. No same address are set repeated for each port, If same address are set in the same port, then there will have Data contention, you should adjust the system
    3. If interface is RS-232, also need to define the function4, 1701, and card reader address be define to 00.
    4. Check the basic setup the receive data, choose the cancel, close the function for receive data.
    5. The user press carelessly the database, cause the data missing.
    6. The System was defaults as collecting the data from reader automatic calling, once enter system, the PC will collect the data immediately, if there are any data exist in any reader, you don’t need set any command

    3. Plotter Machine Installation:

    Put  the  head  on  a  stable  table  or  level ground for assembly. Unpack the box for bracket accessories which contains screws and installation tools. You will know how to use the tools very soon.

    Note  that  there  will  be  two  truckles  on  each  support  leg. Connect  the  two support legs with the black tie rod.There are two M5 thread holes at each end of the black tie rod. Align the M5 inner hexagon  screws  with  the  threads  and  use  the  M5  inner hexagon  wrench  provided inside the box to tighten the screws.

    After installing the base of plotter machine, lift the plotter head stably by at least two people together to put on the bracket horizontally. Lift the left side of the head up to align and insert the 8-core cable underneath.

    There will be eight M6 inner hexagon screws in the box for fixing the plotter machine head. Align the thread holes in the head and bracket, insert the inner hexagon screws and tighten them with the inner hexagon wrench.

    5. Function of the Paper Feed Roller:

    During plotting, the feed roller supplies rolled paper continuously for print. It supports, lets out and takes in paper.

    5.1. Installation Of The Feed Roller:

    The paper feed roller is a smooth  ¢38mm aluminum alloy round rod. The rod end with a shaped hole should be put to the side with the motor. The rod end with a shaped hole should be put to the other side. Two black plastic plate-like collar clamps will be provided to be used for fixing paper rolls.

    The right black plastic collar clamp should be put on the aluminum alloy roller with its outside edge about 5.5 cm to the roller end with a ⊙ tapered hole and firmly fixed with  a  M5  inner  hexagon  screw.

    The  left  black  plastic  collar  clamp  should  be  put  onto  a  position  depending  on  the width of the paper roll. After putting on the paper roll in the paper-feeding direction as shown  in  Figure  11,  push  it  fast  to  the  right  side  before  fixing  it  with  a  M5  inner hexagon screw. Please see Figure 9 for fixing the left-hand side.

    6. Paper Roller:

    The paper-collecting roller has a movable stay bar inlaid internally for manual adjustment to change the diameter.

    6.1. Installation of the Paper Roller:

    Align the end with a tapered hole with the tapered pushing core on the left-hand side of the plotter head and push the roller hard to the left to press the core spring. Then,  put  the  end  with  a opening  into  the  terminator  at  the  right  side  of  the plotter head. When turning the handwheel on the roller hard inwards, the stay bar will go  up  to  enlarge  the  diameter.  When  turning  the  handwheel  on  the  roller  hard outwards, the stay bar will be pulled back.

    7. Steps to Load Paper:

    When  loading  paper,  operators  should  face  the  plotter,  lift  up  the  feed  roller with the paper roll on it jointly to align it with the U-shaped slot on the right support leg and push it hard to the right into the place. Then, put the left end of the roller into the U-shaped slot on the left leg.

    When loading the paper-collecting roller onto the U-shaped slot on the plotter head, the roller end with a  shape should be toward the right side of the plotter head and the roller end with a taper should be toward the left side of the plotter head. First push it hard to the left into place and then put the right side of the roller onto the U-shaped slot on the right leg.

    Unpack  the  paper  roll  on  the  feed  roller  and  lift  the  hold-down  wheel.  Push paper gently from the back of the plotter to the front. Pull tight and align the paper with  the  collecting  roller.  Cut  the  paper  with  a  paper  knife  along  the  slot  on  the collecting roller. Tape the center of the paper first with adhesive tape and then tape several positions on both sides depending on the paper width. Turn the handwheel to lift the stay bar. Put down the hold-down wheel.

    A 3-core power cable and a print signal cable (25 wires) will be delivered with the  plotter.  Plug  the  power  cable  into  a  power  socket  and  connect  the  print  signal cable (25 wires) to the parallel port (LPT) of the computer. Now, the plotter is ready to start.

    Before starting the plotter, check to make sure the above-mentioned steps have been correctly followed. Turn on the power to the plotter. In a short moment, the LCD will display normal initialization. Now, you can print the required plots through the computer.

    When taking off the roll of printed plot, first turn the handwheel to close the stay bar tightly and then turn clockwise to unload the plot paper.

    8. Guidelines for Paper Used:

    Don’t  use  damp,  damaged,  curled,  wrinkled  paper.  Don’t  use  paper  with  cutouts, perforations, a bent edge or embossments. Use 35-65g flat plot paper. The weight of a roll of paper should be ≤50kg.

    9. Ink Cartridges of Cad Plotter :

    INKJET cad plotter use model HP51645a ink cartridges which can be purchased from dealers or special HP consumables shops. There are a lot of fakes on the market. Make sure to purchase the real certified cartridges, otherwise it will affect the print quality and lower the plotter life.The ink inside the cartridge will be consumed continuously during plotting. When the ink is low, the ink-empty indicator on the cartridge will change from green to black gradually until totally black indicating the ink is exhausted and the cartridge should be replaced.

    9.1. Cad Plotter Ink Cartridge Installation:

    When replacing the cartridge, the best way is to turn off the power first.

    Before printing a long plot, it’s better to check the ink level in the cartridge of cad plotter to avoid replacing the cartridge midway. Install or replace the cartridge following the steps in the order shown in above figure.

    Policy for Different Types of CCTV Cameras: 

    Policy: CCTV is a very important surveillance device which can help boost factory security to a great extent. All the security sensitive area will be covered by CCTV.CCTV helps the factory in finding out incidents which occurred earlier by means of playing back its recordings. The factory security department will be responsible for different types of cctv cameras and the security manager particularly responsible for the functioning of the CCTV.

    Locations: CCTV will be placed in all the security sensitive areas. Especially finishing and packing section along with the vehicle loading/unloading will be covered by CCTV. In addition the perimeter fencing will also come under video surveillance to track down any illegal trespassing.

    Monitor: The CCTV must be monitored closely. The monitor must be placed under the jurisdiction of the security manager. In case the manager is out somewhere; he will depute somebody else from his own department to monitor the CCTV.

    Recording: CCTV recording must be done and kept for a period of 45 days. The hard disk of the nominated CPU for CCTV must have adequate space to record for the mentioned duration. Retention of the recordings of the time beyond 45 days is not necessary.

    Camera Angle: The camera angle should be installed in such a way so that there is no obstruction of view by any tree or any other structure. The camera must have the ability to scan around to gather maximum evidence of any incident, should it over happen.

    Maintenance: The camera must be periodically maintained so as ensure its function ability. The desorption of its maintenance must be documented in a register. The maintenance document must be reviewed the different types of cctv cameras by the factory periodically.

    CCTV is such an element through which the movement of the employees can be controlled. In order to ensure security at garments industry its importance is unbounded. With a view to ensuring the security of the organization auto designers limited authorities should installed CCTV Camera to monitor the facility and prevent unauthorized access to cargo handling, finished goods and storage areas.

    The authority shall follow the following policy for CCTV:

    1. CCTV Camera should be installed at (a) Main Exit, (b) Loading unloading point (c) Packing areas & (d) Finished goods warehouse.
    2. 24 hours & 7 days should be functional.
    3. The Monitor of CCTV Camera has been installed in such place where entrance of common people is restricted.
    4. The Security in charge check up all the camera everyday 3/4 times through the Monitor to observe whether all the cameras are working well and then write down in the register.
    5. The important part from the recorded part by CCTV Camera is preserved for 45 days and the security officer check up the recorded part.
    6. All cameras are checked up well once in a month and each camera is cleaned.

    In order to view the CC Camera from network it should be connected to a LAN/WAN or internet. The network setup should be configuring according to standard IP block. You may enable DHCP both for server and router. We should set both IP and port number in DVR. After configuring DVR we can use browser e.g. Internet explorer, opera, firefox, google chrome to access the DVR system. Now a days hidden surveillance cameras are very famous

    Configure DVR Security System LAN / WAN

    1. First Access to the network option
    2. Then input IP address. E.g. 192.168.1.100
    3. Then configure subnet mask. E.g. 255.255.255.0
    4. Then input Gateway. E.g. 192.168.1.1
    5. After that enter preferred DNS Server IP. E.g. 192.168.1.21
    6. After that enter secondary DNS Server IP. E.g. 192.168.1.22
