Ahiba

Ahiba Short description

When cotton is dyed in gray state it is important to evaluate the wetting property of an auxiliary used as dispersing agent or colloid protective in order to determine if the product can be used without the addition of another wetting  product. This test will show the wetting and penetration properties of the DPA when dyeing gray cotton. We sale Asset Management Group Wise Allotment Software

The philosophy of “Digital Bangladesh” comprises ensuring people’s democracy and rights, transparency, accountability, establishing justice and ensuring delivery of government services in each door through maximum use of technology-with the ultimate goal to improve the daily lifestyle of general people. Government’s “Digital Bangladesh” includes all classes of people and does not discriminate people in terms of technology. Hence, government have emphasized on the four elements of “Digital Bangladesh Vision” which are human resource development, people involvement, civil services and use of information technology in business.

The government has to realize that Digital Bangladesh is a vision that can be turned into reality only through joint efforts by all sectors — if they think that it is something that the government will deliver to the people on their own, they will start from the wrong premise and Digital Bangladesh may always remain nothing more than a politician’s game of words and hollow promises.

Nap Raising Machine

Nap Raising Machine – It is apparent from the components of Digital Bangladesh listed above that we will require a holistic approach that will address all of the components systematically. An important implication of that is that the government’s administrative structure should be re-organized to handle such policy-making that spans across different sectors…

Determination of calcium carbonate dispersing power (threshold effect)

Principle

The products to be tested are titrated with a calcium acetate solution in the presence of carbonate ions.
The amount of calcium carbonate inhibited per gram of test product is calculated.
The test provides an indication of the strength of the threshold effect (CaCO3 dispersing power) of chemicals based on polyacrylic acids.

Chemicals and apparatus

Glassware: 250-ml beakers (not less than 3 per test substance),
several pipettes, measuring cylinders, etc.

Chemicals: sodum carbonate (soda) 2 % solution
calcium acetate, anhydrous 2 % solution
caustic soda (solid) 3 % solution

Water: de-ionized or distilled

Apparatus: pH meter
magnetic stirrer

Procedure

2 g test substance is weighed into a 250-ml beaker, dissolved in

50 ml de-ionized or distilled water and the solution is
adjusted to pH 8 with caustic soda 3 % while being stirred.

10 ml soda solution 2% is stirred in, the mixture is made up to 150 ml
and adjusted to pH 11 with caustic soda 3%.

Phase 1: Preliminary titration

The amount (ml) of calcium acetate solution which causes permanent turbidity of the test solution is first determined for each product.

Phase 2: Main titration

To confirm the preliminary titration results, further tests are carried out with a series of linearly graduated amounts (ml) of calcium acetate solution, the mid-point of the series being the amount (ml) found from the preliminary titration. –> see example
Increments of 4 ml are suggested.

Important: The weighed amount used for this titration should be enough to consume
20 – 30 ml calcium acetate solution.

Example                     Prelim. titration:           weighed amt.  =  2.0 g            actual consumption  =  60 ml                                     Main titration:  weighed amt.  =  0.8 g            calc.   consumption  =  24 ml   The main titration is hence performed with    :20 ml,   24 ml   and   28 ml.
Important:      As the reaction is time-dependent, the time varying with the product,                                              wait one hour before definitive assessment !
In this case the end-point
In this case the end-point of the titration is at 24 ml calcium acetate solution   Calculation   The amount of calcium that can be inactivated per gram of product and/or the maximum water hardness for which 1 g/l is enough is calculated.   Important : 1ml of the 2 % calcium acetate solution contains 5.067 mg Ca
Maximum amount of Ca that can be inactivated per gram of  product:   mg Ca / g = 5.067 x cons. Ca acetate in ml                                                 weighed amount
Maximum water hardness for 1 g product:   °dH* / g = 0.7 x cons. Ca acetate in ml                                                 weighed amount

Seam Failure – Seam Slippage

DESCRIPTION:

Where the yarns in the fabric pull out of the seam from the edge. This often occurs on fabrics constructed of continuous filament yarns that are very smooth and have a slick surface. Also caused by loosely constructed fabrics.
MINIMIZING SEAM FAILURES – SEAM SLIPPAGE:

  • Consider changing the seam construction to a French seam construction;
  • Increase the seam width or width of bite;
  • Optimize the stitches per inch;
  • Contact your fabric supplier.Seam Slippage on Rayon Fabric

Skipped Stitches

DESCRIPTION: Where the stitch length is inconsistent, possibly appearing as double the normal stitch length; or where you can see that the threads in the stitch are not properly connected together. Caused by the stitch forming device in the sewing machine missing the thread loop during stitch formation causing a defective stitch. On looper type stitches, this will allow the stitch to unravel causing seam failure.

MINIMIZING SKIPPED STITCHES

  • Use a better quality sewing thread. This may include going to a higher performance thread designed to minimize sewing interruptions. (See the Thread Selection Guide and/or Minimizing Thread Breakage & Skipped Stitches);
  • Insure proper machine maintenance and sewing machine adjustments;
  • Make sure sewing machines are properly maintained and adjusted for the fabric and sewing operation. (See Machine Maintenance Checklist);
  • Observe sewing operators for correct material handling techniques. 401 Chainstitch
