You must calibrate the instrument of spectrophotometer separately for each condition you should use. This includes changes to aperture size, Specular Component Included/Specular Component Excluded settings, and reflectance/transmittance modes. For starting the calibration schedule, do the following:
After selecting instrument calibration conditions, click the Calibrate button on the button bar. The Preparation for Calibration dialog box displays.
Place the black trap over of the spectrophotometer the measurement port, and click the Ready button. If the instrument does not have a black standard, or black trap, click the Ready button to continue. The Prepare for Calibration window reappears when the measurement is completed.
Set the white calibration tile over the measurement port of photometer and click the Ready Button located on the top.
When the second measurement of tile of spectro photometer is completed, a message displays indicating the calibration was successful. Finally click Close.

Color matching for solid dyed 100% cotton: Color development by machine, the customers swatch usually happen on the exact type of fabric that customer will be using for bulk production. This information is noted on the lab dip requisite form.But if the exact fabric is not available to ATL lab request for the fabric is to customer through marketing. Customer either may choose to send the fabric to lab which usually delay the color development process or may permit for color developing on available fabric at ATL. In such case color development on the bulk fabric is very important before going to bulk production. Color development process on the bulk fabric is explained in laboratory general specification.Color reading for the customer swatch for obtaining base recipe or matching of customer swatch to the developed sample can be done in two ways-
Visual matching: For obtaining a base recipe closer to the customer sample laboratory technician look for a similar shade of previous sample fabric from the reference library. The reference library consist of a reference along with varying degrees of shade with an identified variation form the reference sample such as delta equal to 0-1.0 . These sample acts as the calibration reference to the customer swatch.
Instrumental color matching procedure: A base recipe can also be found by scanning the customer swatch in data color. Here follow the detail procedure for measuring sample and obtaining data color recommended recipe specified in lab general specification.
Colour Lab Process:
The following colour labprocess is followed –
Dyes and auxiliaries based on the base recipe are weighted using a balance or with an electronic pipette.
Weighted dyes are mixed with 500 ml of water and stirred for 2 min.
According to the quality of the fabric padder Mathis is adjusted (usually 60% pick up). Than the sample fabric is set in the machine and dye liquor is poured in for padding.
The padded sample is put on a frame and than in the Mathis drying and curing machine and then set time and temperature. The sample is dried and takes from the frame.
Next the sample is washed based on the washing condition.
Than the sample is dried using an iron.
It is than set in the light box and inspected for colour lab matching.
If the colour lab match with the customer sample than the trial ends and the sample is developed; if not then the recipe id adjusted and trial is continues following the same process until a sample match happens.
Trial information is noted and each trial sample is attached on the lap dip worksite.

If the account doesn’t exist, the setup adds the new account of barco communicator to the target system. The user right “Log on as a service” is also added for this account.
The setup also adds a local user account with name: SmUser and password: smsmsm in the Users group
2.6. Select SQL Server Instance
If a version of SQL Server or MSDE is already installed on the target system, you must select the SQL Server instance you want to use. If no version is present, the setup will skip this question and will install Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine.
The setup will create an empty SedoMaster and Calendar database for the selected SQL Server instance. If the SedoMaster or the Calendar databases are already present on the system, they will be re-attached to the SQL Server instance.
2.7. Start Copying Files
If you click Next the setup will start installing the product.
2.8. Monitoring Client Installation
For the installation of the Monitoring Client, a separate setup is started. You can accept the defaults in all cases. The SedoMaster Server setup has already configured a host system (SedoMaster Monitoring) that you can use.
2.9. System Changes
The x:\Program Files\Barco\SedoMaster folder is shared as “SedoMaster”. This is necessary to allow SedoMaster Client application access the server files.
Empty SedoMaster and Calendar databases are created.
The SMData ODBC DSN is created.
The SedoMaster and Calendar UDL-files are configured to point to the selected database instance.
Registration of the DCOM objects and controls.
The SQL Server service is started on the target system (only if the setup installs Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine).
The SMSvcMan service is added and started.
The Event Log wrapping method is changed to “Overwrite Event as Needed” for the System, Security and Application Log.
The system performance settings are changed to give the background services a higher priority.
2.10. Modify Textile Software Installation
When the SedoMaster Server setup is run again on the target system, you can choose to modify, reinstall or remove the textile software.
2.11. Modify Textile Software
If you choose to modify the installation, you can install or remove features.
2.12. Repair Textile Software
If you choose to repair the installation, all files and/or registry entries are reinstalled. This is only useful if files or registry entries are missing.
2.13. Remove
If you choose to remove the application, all SedoMaster files installed by the setup are removed. All files created after the setup has run remain on the system. If the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine was installed by the setup, it is also removed. However, the SedoMaster and Calendar databases remain on the system. The user accounts created by the setup program are not removed.
The Monitoring Client program remains on the system. If you want to remove the Monitoring Client from the system, choose Change/Remove in the Add/Remove Programs folder from the Control Panel.
3. SedoMaster Client Textile Management Software

If you click Next the setup will start installing the product.

No SedoMaster files are copied on the client system. All files are available through the shared folder of the SedoMaster Server PC.

DCIMatch Color Analysis Software Auto Installation:
DCIMatch color matching software for textile is given below-
If the setup program does not start automatically for color matching software for textile , select Run from the Windows start menu then select drive/cdrom where the file is located than click setup
Then it will open a dialog box, and click OK for installing colour lab software
To install DCIMatch in the enlglish language you need, click the ‘DCIMatch English’ for installing color lab software program
Whe the install shield wizard is prepared than press the next button for installing color lab software program.
When the DCIMatch installation will starts if you press the button next than the license Agreement for DCIMatch will be displayed. In this stage please read it carefully and proceed .
Type your name and company in text box and than click next for installing color lab software program
Select a new folder where setup will install files remember for lab color system than you can install in any drive this program.
Select the setup type for installing category of lab color system. If you select typical all program will be install. Or you can install the software with customized or compact. The Setup of lab color lab software copies all sybase files needed to run the software of DCIMatch. The sybase setup is not started anymore. If a user needs Sybase Tools e.g. Sybase central you can run the sybase installation manually after the textile software installation is finished.

If you get this message you must need to run the BDE setup manually after you have finished the textile software installation
If the installation works OK follow the instructions carefully on the next dialogs.
If the BDE tools are installed the DCIMatch setup copies the remaining files in your cmputer.

Existing Print Forms in Database printform.db:
This installation installs the latest official version the print forms to your computer. They are contained in file printform.db. If you already had defined your own print forms, then your existing “printform.db” was renamed to “printform.db_11”. Simply rename this file to printform.db to get back your existing forms.
Limitations of Color Matching Software :
Setup does not stop waiting for Acrobat Reader Setup,Setup does not finish properly. If necessary, DCIMatch color matching software setup starts two slave setups: BDE setup and Acrobat reader setup. In both cases it waits for completion of the slave setup, but only up to three minutes.
If the slave setup is not finished within this time, DCIMatch Setup continues,leaving the slave setup open in the background. This may happen, if the user does not answer the prompts of the slave setup.
This behaviour is by design to prevent waiting forever, if a slave setup dies. Please do always watch a running setup and answer the prompts.
Setup fails (many different error messages possible)
It is likely that a virus scanner is installed and running on your system. Please stop all virus scanners while you run any setup program.
Error Message: “colorlab.exe – Entry Point Not Found”
“The procedure entry point ??_U@YAPAXI@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCRT.dll.”when trying to run DCIMatch (NT4.0 only):
Run the DCIMatch color analysis software installation a second time.
This error message appears when DCIMatch is installed on Windows NT 4.0 systems, where no other software had been installed before.
The problem appears, because DCIMatch requires and installs the Microsoft library MSVCRT.dll version 6.1.8637. However, this version is overwritten by Acrobat Reader 4.05 Setup, which installs version 5.00 of the same DLL. NT4.0 SR5 comes with version 4.20.
Error Message “No Driver for Security Key found”
Under yet unknown conditions after a program update you may get an error message “No Driver for Security Key found” and the program stops.
In this case, run DDINST32.EXE in the dcimatch directory (default:
C:\Program Files\Datacolor International\DCIMatch). Click on the [Express] button, then Exit.
Error Message “…An Error occurred while attempting to initialize the Borland. Database Engine (error $2501)
Solution of Color Analysis Software Error:
When you get this error, start the program “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Borland Shared\BDE\BDEADMIN.EXE” (it may be in another folder, depending on the language installed on your system). Press Tab “Configuration”
Double-click on Configuration in the left hand window
Click in INIT
Click on SHAREDMEMLOCATION in the right hand window
enter “0x5bde” in this line (without the double-quotes “)

5.1. Manufacturing Information Systems
We have adapted the logging graphic so that we can display Beacon features in the graph, like control parameters, input/outputs at cursor level, user prompts.
The logging graphic for SEDOMATs now supports also infowords and infobits at marker as manufacturing information systems
Support of 24h machine logging : it’s now possible to show in one logging graphic the latest 24 hours logging of each machine. (included events, alarms, stop declarations, all infowords & bits, program start/stops, …)

This release of SedoMaster uses Monitoring Client version 3.03 (Build 1186) as a monitoring system. Hence all new features supported by that component are also applicable in the SedoMaster System.
The new Monitoring includes improved manners of filtering: the Batch Selection is no longer limited to a certain number of Batches in the past and reporting can be requested over flexible periods (whereas in the past it was always relative to the current day).
An improved way of logging (differential logging) results in a considerable smaller size for the log files, this of course without loss of data using manufacturing information system
The Trend Logging Graphics and Program Overview have been made visually more attractive. The Program Overview now integrates Alarms and Program Stops (both on screen and on print) and supports function icons.
