Diesel Generator Service since the year 2000, Powertrade Energy have been engaged in supply and service of industrial diesel & gas generator in different business sector all-over South-East Asia and Bangladesh. We have sold thousands of SCANPaC generators and in Bangladesh about 650 “SCANPaC” units were sold through our agent and some direct orders, and have been powering, hospital, buildings, residence, hotels retails, TV station, Factories. To further expand our business, we have established our branch office in Bangladesh with full sales, service and support team. Factory is connected to two gas generator having capacity 1MW each as the main source. The factory is also connected to grid supply (REB) tapped from two  11kV overhead line feeders. A 1MW diesel generator is connected as standby power source. The 11kV  grid  supplies  are  stepped  down  by  one  independent        3-phase,  37.5kVA  power transformers.  The  output  from  one  of  the  transformers  and  standby  diesel  generator  are connected through COS with LV bus.

5. f) Service, maintenance and overhaul of power plant

The total risk index figure is above  40, it is advised to incorporate lightning protection system
considering the importance of the building structure. However, factory management informed that
lightning protection system had been installed considering safety of the factory building. During
inspection, four lightning protection device was found installed at the roof top
