Tajima DGML by Pulse
Tajima DGML by pulse embroidery software by pulse edition X is the latest advance in embroidery creation technology transported to you by Tajima by pulse microsystems. This document outlines the major changes in this version from Tajima DGML by Pulse version 9 series. The document of Tajima DGML Embroidery Software should be used in mixture with your printed manual. Tajima DGML is compatible with other Embroidery Software’s.
Features of Tajima Pluse:
Tajima Pulse Edition X has several exciting new features considered to growth your productivity and allow you bigger flexibility when editing your designs. Some features may only apply to specific levels of the software. Below is a brief list of some of these exciting changes.
- Tajima pulse can make stitch and Outline editing in a single window of tajima pulse
- Introduction of the PXF unified file format feature in tajima software.

User Interface of Tajima Dgml by Pulse:
If you are an existing DG/ML Tajima Dgml by Pulse user, you will announcement that most of the tools in the workspace look similar to what you are used to in version 9. The biggest alteration is the elimination of the Stitch Window. Changing of both outlines and stitches can now be done in the same window.
Tajima Stitch
The user interface of the now unified Outline/Stitch window needed to be updated to accomplish both Stitch and Outline editing. Also, we have some additional features and improvements.
The Tajima DG/ML by Pulse design workspace includes the toolbars, menus, ribbon, and the design window containing the design you are editing. You can change the look and functionality of your design workspace by changing these settings You can hide or move a toolbar if it is blocking your view of the workspace and cluttering the screen. You can move the toolbars anywhere on the screen. If you drag a toolbar to the edge of the design workspace, it attaches to the sides, top, or bottom edge of the workspace. You can arrange the toolbars in an order that is comfortable for you. You can also leave toolbars floating on your workspace. To see the name of each tool on the various toolbars, simply move
your pointer over the tools. A small Tool Tip box pops up and displays the tool name. To show or hide the toolbar:
- Choose the toolbar you want to show or hide from the Toolbars menu of tajima by pulse . A check mark indicates that the toolbar is visible on your screen.
- To move the toolbars, drag the floating toolbar by its title bar or drag by the gray area around the buttons.
Screen Calibration with Tajima By Pulse Software:
The function of tajima by pulse now has the ability to adjust for dissimilar monitor sizes and resolves. This consents you to accurately represent the size of your design objects based on your monitor. In order for Tajima by plus DG/ML embroidery software by Pulse to calculate the correct display size, you need to provide information about your monitor. You will then see the following dialog box with a ruler, measure the height and width of the picture of the fish in the dialog.
Enter the values in the fields below the picture. Click OK when finished. The information you entered will be used to calculate the proper scaling. The size of the objects of tajima embroidery software on the screen will be displayed in actual size when the icon is selected while working on a design.
Calibrating your Screens for Accurate Measurements. Tajima DG/ML by Pulse allows you to calibrate your monitor to display design dimensions accurately. When you use the Back to 1:1 tool, a tool used to display designs in their original size, the ruler measurements will be accurate and match the number of centimeters or inches that the design measures. To calibrate your screen:
- Choose Tools—Configuration—Calibrate Screen…
- To calibrate the screen, place a ruler against your monitor and measure the dimensions of the image shown in the dialog.
- In the Height box, enter your height dimensions for the image shown.
- In the Width box, enter your width dimensions for the image shown.
- Click OK
3D View Designs of Tajima Pulse :
3D View designs by juju is now a drawing mode rather than a toggle. The four drawing modes that are now available are: Slow, Medium, Fast and 3D. You can no longer draw segments or stitches slowly in 3D. The Tool Cabinet provides a different way to organize Tajima DG/ML by Pulse’s tools. The tools on the toolbars are placed in categorized drawers in the Tool Cabinet. The Tool Cabinet allows you to quickly locate tools and organize them in drawers where you can add the tools that you use most often.
Show and hide the Tool Cabinet —-Choose Tool Bars—Tool Cabinet.
Open a drawer —- Click the drawer.
Use a tool — Click the tool.
Enlarge the tool — Right-click and choose Large
View the tool name — Right-click and choose Show
Add a new drawer — Right click on the drawer and choose Add Folder from the menu.
Remove a drawer —Right-click on the drawer and choose Remove Folder from the menu.
Rename a drawer — Right-click on the drawer and choose Rename Folder from the menu.
Add commands or tools — See “Customizing the Tool Cabinet”.
Reset drawers or folders — See “Resetting the Tool Cabinet folders”
You can add tools and commands to existing drawers or to any custom drawers that you create.
To customize the Tool Cabinet:
- Open the drawer where you want to add another tool.
- Right-click the opened drawer.
- Choose Add Commands from the menu.You see the Add Commands dialog.
- In the Category list, select the category to which the tool belongs.
- Under Commands, select the tool you want to add to the open drawer.
- Click the arrow.The tool moves to the Add Commands box.
- Click OK. The selected tool is added to the open drawer
Icon Buttons for Tajima DGML by Pulse:
A new set of icon buttons of tajima dgml by pulse has been added. These icons of tajima dgml by pulse permit you to quickly access the functions, New, Open, Save, Und o, Redo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Clear, Print and Help.
More Icon button is given below-
Segment Filter: Hides outline segments by thread numbers or by stitch types. You can create custom filters.
Show Commands: Shows symbols at the locations on the design where the embroidery
machine performs commands, such as stop, trim, and changeover.
Show Dots: Shows the stitch penetrations represented by a black dot.
Show Beads: Shows start, stop, and angle line beads.
Show Stitches: Shows the stitches of segments in the design window (default setting).
Show Grid: Shows a background grid to help you align anchor points or measure a design.
Change Background Color: Displays a color palette that allows you to change the background
color of the window.
Very Slow Drawing: Very slowly redraws the design in the sewing order.
Slow Drawing: Slowly redraws the design in the sewing order.
Normal Drawing: Quickly redraws the design in the sewing order.
Show 3-D Stitches: Use to provide a realistic view of your design and give a better idea of how
stitches will look. Jump to previous group: Use to move to the previous color change.
Rewind: Use to move backward in your design (by segments or stitches)
Selection Tool of Tajima Embroidery Software :
Handles now have 8 control points of tajima embroidery software . Clicking on the corners and dragging will now re-size the segment proportionally. In earlier versions of tajima embroidery software clicking on the corners would deform the shape of the segment. When the select tool is active, and the show points button is “on”, the system will display only the anchor points of the segment.
The direction of tajima embroidery software points of each anchor will be displayed only when the anchor is selected. This will allow for greater clarity of designs for tajima dgml by pulse particularly on complicated designs with many outline points. To edit outline and direction points, you should use the Node Select tool of tajima software . In the Node Select mode, all the points and direction points are displayed for easy editing of points and direction lines of tajima software. It is available in their site.
